FAQ'S

Here are answers to some common questions.

  • My credit is not perfect. Can I rent a property anyway?

In today’s economy, very few people have perfect credit. What we look for when evaluating FICO scores is a credit history that makes sense. In other words, we take the tenant’s entire credit history individual circumstances into consideration when evaluating credit worthiness.

  • I have a foreclosure. Can I still rent a home?

Yes. We have found that some of our best tenants are former owners who lost their homes to foreclosure.

  • I have a bankruptcy. Could I still qualify to rent a home?

Yes. A bankruptcy alone will not prevent you from qualifying for a rental home. However, if this is the case, you may be charged a higher than average security deposit if you pose a higher than average risk as a tenant.

  • How much are application fees?

Prospective tenants will be charged a $45 application fee to run a credit, criminal and sex-offender report.

  • How much will my security deposit be?

The security deposit is typically one to two times the amount of monthly rent, depending on your credit history. So, to move in, you will need the 1st month’s rent plus the security deposit.

  • How long will my lease term be?

In most cases, you will sign a 1-year lease.

  • How long will it take to get a decision?

We typically will have a decision within 24 hours of receiving your application.
